WHO KNEW Celebrates
July 18 at City Winery in Nashville.
For a long time the producers of WHO KNEW have thought about how to deliver an event featuring music industry non-profits. We are delighted to finally deliver on that promise on July 18 at City Winery in Nashville.
Let’s face it, there are SO many great organizations that serve various needs of certain segments of the industry. We could present literally dozens of such organizations so culling the list of possibilities was quite challenging. They all do such great work and could all benefit from the exposure of WHO KNEW.
In standard WHO KNEW fashion, we are pleased to have the Founders/CEO’s of these amazing organizations each deliver a 10 minute “TED Talk” about their lives, careers and the missions that their organizations fulfill.
The organizations (and Executive Directors) we’ve selected to feature at this amazing event are as follows:
Porter’s Call – Al Andrews – Founder and Executive Director
HeadCount.org – Andy Bernstein – Founder and Executive Director
Music Health Alliance – Tatum Allsep – Founder and Executive Director
Creative’s Day – Brian Sexton – Founder and President
Road Recovery – Gene Bowen – Founder
H.O.M.E. – Logan Crowell – Founder and President
National Museum of African American Music – H. Beacher Hicks III – President and CEO
Come and hear the inspiring stories that prompted these amazing people start these vital organizations that serve so many needs for so many people across the music industry.
Like all WHO KNEW events, we will be giving away some great prizes such as tickets to several large music festivals and pouring free samples of Four Roses Bourbon.
Doors at 5:00; program at 6:30.
An extension of MusicRowSearch, WHO KNEW Nashville is a bi-monthly event designed to provide unique perspectives from many of the music industry’s most accomplished executives and brightest minds. Think “Shark Tank” + TED Talks + speed dating. It’s the next generation of Meet Up. The event serves as a fertile hunting ground for talent, trends and who’s making it happen. Everyone who attends gets a birds’ eye view of who’s new and who’s next.
“WHO KNEW Nashville is an event series inspired by my mission to connect people. Nashville is one and half degrees of separation. I kept meeting and seeing the incredible wealth of knowledge, experience and talent and thought ‘How do I get all of these people in one room?’
That’s how WHO KNEW started. Beginning in 2015, our sold out events feature the most innovative minds, anarchists, entrepreneurs and trend setters in the music industry. Each event highlights a topic that’s real and right now. Real conversations. Real connections.”
